Privacy is a concept that has been very popular in the many advances in technology. In todays world, everything is linked to you and with private information. Your social media accounts is something that contains a lot of your personal information. When creating a social media account they ask you for your address, email address, cell phone number and more. Now a big concern a lot of people have is if this information is safe and protected from outside users. These sites do contain privacy settings however people are finding that there are many ways around these settings.
Todays generation is being encouraged to watch what they put on these social media sites. Jobs that are hiring are now starting to look people up that are applying. Often people are losing jobs opportunities due to what they post on these sites. Privacy settings on these sites do work however people are being warned that there are ways around these settings. To avoid any problems people should play it safe and keep their social media sites clean.
I agree with you that privacy is a big factor in todays world because everything you want to know about a person can be found on some ones facebook page, I also agree that you should keep your facebook clean, one of my friends just went for a job at this financial investment firm and had to hand over his facebook username and password during the interview process.
